Registration Info

Our mission is to teach young girls strong, healthy, independent singing skills in a positive choir group. We also strive to promote a strong sense of self-esteem, self-motivation, and accomplishment through our rehearsals and performances.

Rehearsals: Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:00 p.m. and one Saturday each month from 9:00-11:00 a.m. August-May. Rehearsals are held at Central Baptist Church.

Aug. 21 Canaries Game
Sept. 6 Sidewalk Arts Festival
Nov. 14 SFGC Concert
Mar. 14-15 Con Brio sings with the South Dakota Symphony
Apr. 24 SFGC Concert
Other performances may be added to the calendar as opportunities arise.

Traveling Tour: Each choir travels at the end of the season. Younger groups travel one day without an overnight stay,
while the older choir travels for several days.
Bella Voce tour – May 2
Con Brio tour – 4-5 days the end of May. Specific dates and destination TBD.

Choirs: Our choir groups are divided by age and ability. Placement auditions will be held on Saturday,
August 16 for all 6th graders as part of our all day singing camp.

Con Brio 6-12 graders

Musical Goals: Music Reading, Following a Music Score, Music Theory, Sight-Singing, Concert
Performance Skills, Stage Poise, Vocal Health, and Singing Melody and Harmony

Social Goals: Friendship Building, Group Building, and Personal Growth
