Two sessions offered for girls in grades 3-6
Each session will be unique, so girls can register for one or both depending upon your schedule

Rehearsals held mid-August – first week of May with break for Christmas
Thursday rehearsals at 5:30-6:45 p.m.

Do I have to live in Sioux Falls to register for SFGC?
~No, we have children involved from many of the surrounding communities.

Does my daughter have to be an experienced singer to join?
~No, we feel everyone can learn how to sing when given the opportunity to learn in a healthy environment

Are there auditions?
~We hold placement auditions for Bella Voce and Con Brio in August. This ensures we place each girl in the appropriate choir based on her past experience and age so she will have a great experience!

Costs and other useful tidbits for
Bella Voce and Con Brio...
The membership fee covers over 75 hours of quality musical instruction and vocal training per season as well as activities and materials, music and folder, SFGC t-shirt, supplies, copies, rehearsal space, concert venues and recordings, conductor and accompanist.
The membership fee is $300 for the season which may be paid prior to the first rehearsal, or you may sign up for the monthly $35 account withdrawal which includes a small processing fee.
Financial aid is available based on economic need, and we accept United Way Connecting Kids certificates. Contact the office for more information.
Families will need to purchase admission tickets for concerts. They are usually priced at $5 each or $12 for your family.
Tour fees are the responsibility of each family. Optional fundraisers are offered throughout the year. The money that members raise goes into each member's individual fundraiser account to help offset expenses of tuition or a future tour.
We ask parents to help with everything from concerts to fundraisers throughout the year. A volunteer sign-up sheet will be distributed early in the year. Parent volunteers are a crucial part of our success, lasting family friendships are made and invaluable support is given to the children's activities.
